KÉK LÓ UNDERGROUND CARNIVAL – avagy találkozás a kedvenc ruháiddal! A Kék Ló csapata minden hónapban elhozza nektek kedvenc ruháitokat, zenekaraitokat és dj-iteket a Kék Lótól már megszokott, extravagáns hangulatot teremtve. Közös beöltözések a koncertek előtt a ruhakölcsönzőben, ahol ingyenes és fizetős ruhák is lesznek. Minden alkalommal kéklovas underground jazz koncert, majd őrült tánc a villogós rucikban. Ezen felül a minden alkalommal változó közösségi programokról és performanszokról még nem is beszéltünk!
Ezúttal elhozzuk nektek Manu Louist a belga zenebohóc barátunkat. Manu Louis egy rendkívül produktív zeneszerző és kísérleti chanson előadó, akit a pop, a jazz, az elektronikus és a XX. Századi klasszikus zene egyaránt befolyásol. Csupán a 2016-17-es években több mint 200 helyszínre és fesztiválra hozta el energikus és kiszámíthatatlan egyszemélyes showját (többször is turnézott Japánban, az Egyesült Királyságban és Kínában). A 30 részes darabban a Orchestra Vivo és az O.C.L. húros együttese számára végzett munkáját követően Manu most hiper-eklektikus albumot ad ki, ami a vásártérről szól: Kremesse Machine (Igloo rec.). A 7 ” kislemezének berlini New Pangea kiadó lendületére építve Manu első teljes hosszúságú szólólemezét posztmodern pop együttese keveri össze, ahol az extravagáns kürt hangja elegánsan ütközik olcsó szintetizátorokéval, amint bölcsőben ringatja lírai megfigyeléseit, franciául és angolul énekelve. A Berlinben, Brüsszelben és Rómában felvett Kermesse Machine ötvözi Manu gyermekkori Anglo popjának egzotikus csillogását a tipikus populáris belga zenét, amelyeket mindig a lehető legjobban igyekezett ignorálni (fúvós együttes, Eurodance, industrial trance, esküvői előadók). A művész szavai szerint a lemez olyan, akár „műanyag poharak hegye az utcákon, másnap reggel, egy trópusi digitális vonuló zenekar, egy srác, aki mindenét beleadja a Karaoke-ba, mert nem maradt már más hely az éneklésre, egy cigányvirtuóz, aki trombita hangot játszik a szintin.”

Kék Ló UNDERGROUND CARNIVAL – or meet your favorite outfit! The Kék Ló team brings you your favorite clothes, bands and DJs every month, creating the extravagant atmosphere as Kék Ló usually does. You can pick from our unique clothes to get dressed before the concerts our the clothes rental, where there will be free and paid clothes to choose from. In every occasion a Kék Ló underground jazz concert, and then a crazy dance party in glittery and flashing, colorful clothes. In addition to these, we haven’t even talked about the ever-changing community programs and performances at you can experience each time!
This time we invited the belgian music-clown, Manu Louis, a prolific composer and performer of experimental chanson, influenced equally by pop, jazz, electronic and 20th Century classical music. In 2016-17 alone, he brought his energetic and unpredictable one-man show to over 200 venues and festivals (many tours in Japan, U.K. Europe, China). Following his work for the 30-piece Orchestra Vivo and for string ensemble O.C.L., Manu is now releasing a hyper-eclectic album about the fairground: Kremesse Machine(Igloo rec.). Building on the momentum of his debut 7” single for Berlin label New Pangea, Manu’s first full-length solo album delivers a warped mix of post-modern pop, where luxurious horns elegantly collide with cheap synths to cradle his lyrical observations, sung in French and English. Recorded in Berlin, Brussels and Rome, Kermesse Machine combines the exotic glamour of the Anglo pop of Manu’s childhood with the tacky sounds of Belgian popular music that he always did his best to ignore (brass band, Eurodance, industrial trance, wedding performers). In the artist’s own words, the record is “a mountain of plastic glasses in the streets the morning after, a tropical digital marching band, a guy giving all he’s got at Karaoke because there’s nowhere left to sing, a gypsy virtuoso playing synth with a trumpet sound.”
